Tras cumplir más de una década, el evento del Centro Cultural de la PUCP se ha convertido en el más importante de nuestro país; y también en uno de los más relevantes de Latinoamérica. La campaña de este año se ha dirigido a reforzar ese lugar ganado con insistente creatividad y compromiso. Así, el Festival ha ordenado sus elementos más característicos para proponerse una convocatoria más amplia.

La tarea se resume en esto: había que reconocer que fuera del país ya es nombrado como Festival de Lima y utilizar como logo el Spondylus, trofeo singular que se entrega hace varios años, y que refiere a una antigua tradición panandina de intercambio. Había que destacar, finalmente, su cualidad como encuentro vecinal en el continente: si América Latina es un barrio, Lima -se constituye en esta semana- en su cine.
